Here is what you deserve to know: almost every major leak happens before the exam begins — on the paper’s journey. CORTEX closes that journey: the paper is sealed from the moment it leaves the examination board and can only be opened at your child’s exam desk, at the exam hour.

And after the exam, your child gets a receipt you can check on any phone — confirming ALL the papers were sealed until opening, the answers are unaltered, and the score traces to those answers. Fairness you can verify yourself, without anyone’s permission.

No adjectives — here is the checkable position. The delivery layer is a granted Indian patent (No. 572782; PCT WO 2024/003947): proximity-authenticated, offline distribution of encrypted content to locked devices inside a secured area, with no hall-wide signal in its wired/near-field embodiments.

The integrity layer, CORTEX, binds paper, responses and score into a signed, hash-linked, witnessed, published evidence chain — verifiable with an open-source verifier. Its guarantees are stated as intended cryptographic behaviour, to be established by independent verification.

Architecture, threat model, custody design and the patent-pending improvements are documented and available under NDA to evaluation bodies, including government technical organisations. We built CORTEX to be evaluated, not believed.

Every cancelled exam costs more than a re-test: it costs public faith in the institution that conducts it. And the threat picture is on the record — India’s largest CBT-conducting agency has publicly named “remote answering and technical hacks” as its biggest threats.
